Other TakeBack guidance

Turn the tile over. Send the markings you can see.

Information printed on the reverse can help Renuvo identify the product and locate relevant technical information.

Marking formats vary, so use this as a guide rather than an exact template.

Example back-of-carpet-tile markings numbered to show product name, date, manufacturer and batch number

Example markings

Four details can help.

  1. 1
Product nameThe range or product reference.
  2. 2
Date of manufactureThe production date shown by the manufacturer.
  3. 3
ManufacturerThe company that made the carpet tile.
  4. 4
Batch numberThe production or batch run reference.

Taking the photograph

Make every character readable.

Photograph the reverse square-on in even light. Keep the camera steady and include the surrounding tile so the marking has context.

If details are missing

Send what is visible.

Not every tile carries all four details. A clear surface photograph and any readable reverse markings may still help Renuvo identify it.

Preparing an Other TakeBack submission

Send the clearest information you have.

Add readable reverse markings and product photographs when the booking form asks for them.
